MINISTRY ORDINATION
General Information and Requirements for Ordination and Licensing
Purpose: Tommy Lee Driver Ministries (TLD Ministries) is an independent interdenominational non-profit organization that provides credentials to evangelical God called ministers who meet the qualifications for ordination and licensing.
Membership Dues and Reporting: TLD Ministries members are required to pay annual $100.00 membership dues. This amount is payable every January 1 upon receipt of the credentials for that year. However, TLD Ministries does ask members to consider giving monthly support as the Lord leads or a one-time gift in addition to the membership dues. In addition, a Ministerial Report is required annually to remain in good standing with TLD Ministries.
Students that successfully complete any certificate program are eligible to apply for ordination and licensure.
Requirements for Ordination and Licensing
Each applicant must:
1. Complete ministry form and return it to TLD Ministries Headquarters with a $25.00 processing fee.
2. Subscribe to the TLD Ministries Tenets of Faith and Ministerial Ethics.
3. Have a ministry which warrants the applicant being licensed or ordained based on scriptures.
4. For licensing-less than 3 years practical ministry experience.
5. For ordination-5 years practical minister experience.
6. Have four references which positively respond to a questionnaire concerning the applicant and his/her ministry.
7. Submit to an oral interview conducted by TLD Ministries Ordained Ministerial credentialing committee. This interview may take place in person or by phone (teleconference or videoconference call) depending on geographical location.
